About Me

I grew up in a small town in the American deep south, an only child of a history buff and a gregarious CPA. Our travels as a family usually consisted of piling into the family car to spend weekends on our boat or heading off to places of historical importance around the southeastern United States.

I took my first “grown up” trip to Europe as a solo traveler in 2017 and I’ve had the travel bug ever since. I am a full-time professional in finance living in a non-hub city so frequent travel isn’t always possible. So, I plan and take one big 1-2 week trip every year along with several weekend getaways in the US and Canada throughout the year.

My interests are travel, aviation, credit card points programs, and language learning.
